Within the context of the Mining Tech Tour Canada 2024, organized by the Chilean Canadian Chamber of Commerce, AndesMet and Endevor, the CEO, Víctor Contreras, and the Business and Marketing Manager, Andrés Jara, from Pares&Alvarez, attended the event and highlighted the importance of the participation of the public and private sector in the PDAC to promote Chile's mining exports.
The Chilean company Pares&Alvarez, leading provider of engineering solutions for the mining, energy, chemical and other sectors, has appointed Héctor Quezada as the company's new Country Manager in Australia, based in Perth.
With the intention of projecting and looking for business opportunities in the Australian mining market Alex Borger, General Manager at Independent Metallurgical Operations Pty Ltd (IMO) and Andrés Jara, Business Manager at PA engineering (P&A) have signed, in Perth, an agreement to jointly develop scoping, pre-feasibility, and feasibility studies, JORC and NI 43-101 reports, among others.
Pamela Moraga, P&A's Human Capital Manager, explained that this is the first time that a process of this magnitude has ever been doing in the company, as it considers more than 140 leaders.
The event was an ideal opportunity for countries to attract investment, showcase their experiences and link up with mining companies, investors, and suppliers.
Among the first activities carried out by the group, the Business Manager of Pares&Alvarez highlighted the visit to the SQM refinery and the BHP Integrated Remote Operations Center of Western Australia.
The scope of the feasibility study carried out by P&A for phase II of the project, considers the design of a liming plant to process 20 thousand tons per year of lithium carbonate equivalent.
The Summit has become a key platform to meet and connect with people involved in the hydrogen industry.
