Pares&Alvarez launched its Leadership Academy, with the aim of aligning its leaders with the new challenges facing the company. These include the development of large projects, the internationalization of the company and the internal growth of the staff, considering diversity and flexibility as the main hallmarks of the company.

Pamela Moraga, P&A’s Human Capital Manager, explained that this is the first time that a process of this magnitude has ever been doing in the company, as it considers more than 140 leaders in roles of managers, assistant managers, chiefs, and process leaders. Moraga explained that “this first stage considers an intensive work of eight months that covers the management of Environment, Engineering, Projects and Administration and Finance, and then, in a second stage, integrate the management of Consulting”.

Given that P&A already has more than 1,000 employees, the purpose of the Leadership Academy is to develop and strengthen the soft skills of those who lead diverse groups in the company. With this, enhance their ability to effectively manage projects, ensuring in their role control and monitoring throughout the value chain, taking charge of reliable results with a focus on the objectives defined by the organization.

Likewise, the Human Capital Manager added that “we have seen a high commitment, not only in terms of attendance, but also participation in the analysis and reflection of the critical processes of their respective areas and roles, generating a greater alignment of leaders towards the organizational focuses, productivity and quality of our operational processes.”

For Moraga, this program will be key to continue moving towards the consolidation of an organizational leadership culture. In addition, it seeks greater speed in the processes of creating, delivering, and capturing value for the sustainability of the business and the well-being of the company’s employees.
