With more than 25 years of experience, he started working at Pares&Alvarez in 1997 as a Process Engineer and during his career he has been responsible for various roles associated with engineering, consulting and projects, until reaching his current position as Marketing & Business Development Manager.
Between September 2012 and June 2013, he was Project Manager of the “CMPC Plywood Plant Expansion” project (EPCM engineering, construction management and procurement), with an investment of USD$125M.
Chemical Engineer from the University of Concepción, he has extensive experience in various industries such as petrochemical, chemical, energy, mining and wood derivatives. He has developed and managed more than 400 projects, mainly related to evaluation, market research, cost estimation, process optimisation, basic and detail engineering, contract development and management, tender development and negotiation.
